| BETTER LATE THAN NEVER !!! Sorry this is a month late folks, hope you can bear with me. It’s been a mad hectic time in the Nichol Household LOL. Anyhow it’s great to be back and I hope everyone had a fantastic summer and everyone’s settled back into school. It’s hard to believe that it’s October already and not long to Christmas. I’ve been given a few ideas lately and hope I can get some feedback on a potential meet up before I go investigating. Membership is increasing so I would like to say a big welcome to all new members and hope that we will get the chance to meet up soon. Our day out at Cairnie Farm was fab, and the sunshine didn’t let us down it was a great day – even if I did eat too many strawberries while picking them LOL Thanks for reading the newsletter and I’ll be sending out the next one in December. Just drop me an email at cnichol@blueyonder.co.uk EVENTS THURSDAY 29TH OCTOBER 2009 – COFFEE MORNING – AT ST ANDREW’S OFFICES 10AM – 12 NOON Drop in coffee morning everyone welcome taking place in the upstairs boardroom, would love to meet up and have a chat over some coffee and biscuits. SUNDAY 15th NOVEMBER 2009 – ALMOND VALLEY HERITAGE CENTRE, WEST LOTHIAN Family meet up, this is a fantastic place to visit and has something for everyone, from the giant indoor sand pit, 2 soft play areas, 1 indoor barn play area, indoor picnic barn, museum, bouncy castle, tractor and train rides, craft area, animals, you name it, its got it. If the weathers not the best, there’s plenty indoor activities to keep all the munchkins happy. Meet up at 11am outside the front door. If you are interested, can you please email me. PROPOSED MUM’S DAY FOR THE NEW YEAR Have had a couple of suggestions for another mums’ meet up – why lot lets go and get a wee pampering session at Stobo Castle Spa, and have a little lunch and chat at the same time to help de-stress and chill out. If this would be of interest too you could you drop me a line and I will start looking into possible dates, costs etc and then update in the next Newsletter with more details I’ll be organizing more events for the New Year so look out in the next Newsletter. FREE DAYS OUT Pittencrief Park in Dunfermline – check it out, it has a fab play park, you can go into the house, there’s loads of green areas for playing out, as well as the Victorian Green House etc. If you can recommend any places or know of any events coming up please can you drop me an email. CONGRATS/ANNOUNCEMENTS A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Cathie Hutchison and her daughter who recently attended court to finalize her adoption they are now officially a forever family – I’m sure everyone will be over the moon in congratulating Cathie and her family.
