EVENTS

SUNDAY 19th APRIL 2009 – Picnic at Beacraigs Country Park, West Lothian
Weather permitting we thought it would be a great place to get everyone together for a free day out and there’s a great park area for the kids and plenty of room to have a picnic, great walks, the fishery you name it and will give everyone adults and kids alike a great chance to catch up while the kids are playing and lots of green space to run riot around.

Meeting time 11.30 am – in the Car Park next to the Adventure Playground No 8 on the park map.

If anyone needs directions etc just drop us a line and we can fire it out to you.
If you are interested in coming, could you please email:- shonahildreth@yahoo.co.uk by 15th April.

SATURDAY 23rd MAY 2009 – Ladies Lunch, Standing Order, George Street, Edinburgh

How about us girls get out for a couple of hours and meet for lunch. I thought we would go for a comfortable, reasonably priced venue that won’t break the bank, and will hopefully be quite easy for everyone to get to.
Meeting time 1pm Just inside the main entrance. If you would like to attend, would you mind emailing me by Monday 18th April as I will have to ring and reserve tables for us.

Email – cnichol@blueyonder.co.uk

SUNDAY 20th JUNE 2009 – Men’S Day Out - Fancy some Bowling!!!
Venue to be confirmed – any suggestions welcome on venue, or an alternative activity – if you could email me your interest/venue idea that would be fantastic and I’ll get it into the May Newsletter

Email – cnichol@blueyonder.co.uk

SUNDAY 19th JULY 2009 – Anyone for some Fruit Picking and Fun – Cairnie Fruit Farm, Cupar Fife

This place is great from picking your own fruit to finding your way through the mega maze and other activities. Not to mention the great farm shop and tearoom – I think there’s something for everyone at this farm.
There is an admission charge of £15 for 4 people of which one of the four must be an adult. However, they offer a 15% discount on the admission charges for group bookings.

If you are interested in attending, can you please email:- Cathie@dsl.pipex.com

FREE DAYS OUT

I thought it would be a great idea to include this section and would love your input. We all know how expensive it can be taking the whole family out for the day, so I thought I’d get the ball rolling and would welcome input to this section if you know of any free family/social events coming up over the next few months.

Email me at cnichol@blueyonder.co.uk
